FACEMELTER
SF Faux Life

I don’t think there has been a more AMAZING week of music at any point in my life.

No, I didn’t attend WMC. Or SXSW.

No, I didn’t go to the Flying Lotus show.

I didn’t go to ICEE HOT to see one of my favorite DJ’s, Low Limit, spin at one of the funnest spots in the Tenderloin.

The Hudson Mohawke show wasn’t the greatest. B. Bravo’s show? 10 people there, 15 max.

I spent the entire week sharing the music I love with other people. Music I used to listen to from elementary, junior high, and high school… songs that I still enjoy and are as good as I heard them the first time.

I met B. Bravo: pretty awesome and chill dude, played a MONSTER set with his brother. Hudson Mohawke? Quiet but modest… but I said hi to Ana Sia at the show, she was dancing right next to me yeah baby!

I’m teaching my friend AJ how to use Ableton, he’s absolutely stoked, as stoked as I was when I first started learning.

My best friend Jared absolutely murdered Speaker Bump in San Jose.

Sessioning with new friends at a housewarming party.

My best friend Sam came out with a little of her first mixtape. So excited for her and whats to come.

Two of my friends made a tribute song for me!!!

And just tonight, I got a free download of a new track by The Glitch Mob. These guys are my heroes: I’ve confessed to them that they have literally awoken the musician in me.

This past 7 or so days has absolutely justified my decision to move to San Francisco.

The dopest thing is, Sunday starts the new week.
